A doctor usually using a stethoscope. With this tool, it can analyze the patient's disease of the sounds detected through the stethoscope is placed on the patient's body.
But, did you know that the tool was originally created from a difficulty? stethoscope was invented by a doctor named René Théophile Hyacinthe Laennec. he found it difficult to detect heart rate of patients without the tools. For that, he rolled up the paper which is then placed on the patient's body to enlarge the sound pulse.

One time, Rene Leonardo da Vinci thought of the statement. Leonardo said that the timber can be used as media to enlarge a low voice. From that statement, he then tried to use wood to solve the difficulty hear the pulse of the patient.
Through various experiments, in 1819 Rene succeeded in creating the first generation stethoscope that is named Baton. The shape is a hollow cylindrical pipe made of wood with a length of 5.9 inches or 15 centimeters. The device is attached to the patient's body and the edges be heard at the doctor's ear. Baton form later developed into a glass or hourglass-shaped pipe with a length of 15 to 22.5 centimeters. Thanks to advances in technology, in the 19th century stethoscope was developed with rubber and aluminum.
Later, Rene invention perfected by Nicholas P Comins in 1829. He created a stethoscope that allows one to hear the pulse with both ears. This is the stethoscope that we know the present form.
Rene and Nicholas this invention can be regarded as the invention that changed the world. Therefore, the stethoscope has become a kind of tool required to analyze the patient's disease. Once again, this is evidence that the presence of difficulties, if addressed by the policy, will give birth to innovations that benefit others.
so in this stethoscope invention requires a lot of struggle, imagine if he did not find this tool. want to be like what a doctor present.
