The Discovery History Typewriter

Posted by Jibril on Sunday, April 29, 2012

Modern typewriter is a development of the typewriter that was originally created in a simple and gradual. The discovery of this technology involves inventors who work independently, either individually or in groups, which raises antarpenemu competition for decades.

This is the same as the discovery of the telephone, where a number of people each contributed to the discovery of this typewriter and ultimately create a successful commercial product. The discovery of the typewriter started in 1714, when Henry Mill obtained a patent for creating a machine that resembles a typewriter. In addition, there are also the discovery of carbon paper by Pellegrino Turri which is one of the forerunner of the typewriter components. In 1829, William Justin Burt created a

machine called a "typowriter", known as the first typewriter. However, these machines work longer than writing by hand, so that Burt could not find a buyer or a party companies that want to buy the patent rights. This causes the machine can not be produced for the commercial. Typewriter is used in a way round, not the buttons to select the character, so-called "index typewriter" rather than "typewriter keyboard."In mid 1800, the global can be seen an increase in business communication.

This incident created a need for a mechanical process, so that the writing process becomes faster. In the year 1829 to 1870, the discovery of typewriters in many emerging countries of Europe and America, but no one managed to make a typewriter into a commercially produced product. Then in 1855, Giuseppe Ravizza, an Italian citizen, created a prototype typewriter. In the end, in 1861, Father Francisco João de Azevedo, a Brazilian priest, creating its own typewriter. This finding raises the claim that he is a true inventor of the typewriter. These claims are then caused controversy.

In between the years 1864 until 1867, Peter Mitterhofer, an Austrian carpenter, has developed several prototype models of a typewriter and it can function fully in 1867.In 1865, Rev. Rasmus Malling-Hansen to create "Hansen Writing Ball," which later became the first typewriter sold commercially in 1870. Based on the explanations in the book "Who is the Inventor of the Writing Ball" in 1865, the keyboard used in the typewriter is made of ceramic. In the standard setting process keyboard occurred several experimental stages in the placement of buttons different letters. Experiments on the placement of these buttons aims to achieve the highest write speeds. This causes Hansen Witing Ball was the first typewriter to produce text faster than writing by hand manually.

Experiments on the typewriter that ciciptakan by Malling-Hansen is still experiencing growth since 1870 until around 1880.Typewriter first time that commercial success is created by C. Latham Sholes, Carlos Glidden and Samuel W. Soule in 1867. This discovery then obtain patents and purchased by E. Remington and Sons, a manufacturing company. This success makes "Sholes and Glidden Type-Writer" succeeded in becoming a successful commercial product in the market. This machine is the forerunner of the typewriter keyboard layout has a "qwerty". The success of these sales create the typewriter started to be adopted by several other manufacturing companies. However, this machine was initially still has some shortcomings such as clerks can not see the direct result of typing and the difficulty will be the placement of the keys that are used to return to its original position. This then can be overcome with the advent of "visible typewriters", such as Oliver typewriter in 1895.

a unique facts discovered by Albert Einstein. "The discovery of nuclear chain reactions need not bring the destruction of mankind more than did the discovery of the game we just have to do everything in our power to guard against its abuse ..", said Albert EinsteinOne of the most mysterious phenomena in the universe is the conversion of mass into energy. The whole universe is supported by this process. The energy emitted by stars, including the Sun, emerged from the nuclear reaction called fusion, away from the interior mereka.Pelepasan nuclear energy occurs through the fusion of two hydrogen nuclei into light nuclei heavier than helium.

Commonly considered the inventor Johann Gutenberg printing press.
What he actually did was to develop the first method involved the use of print and the printing press in such a way so that various kinds of written material can be printed quickly and accurately.
No terdetik discovery of one's thoughts, not even the printing press. Seals and seal spheres adhere to the principle that the process is similar to block printing was known in China for centuries before Gutenberg was born and the evidence shows that in the year 868 AD a printed book was discovered in China. A similar process has been known in Europe before Gutenberg. Print block allows printing many copies of certain books.

Alexander Graham Bell - Inventor of Telephone

Posted by Jibril on Sunday, February 19, 2012

Not how can formal education, but taught well by his family and his own study, that the particulars tilpun inventor Alexander Graham Bell was born in 1847 in Edinburgh, Scotland. Interest in Bell reproduce vocal sounds reasonably incurred because of his father an expert in vocal physiology, improve speech and teach deaf people.

Bell never been to Boston, the state of Massachusetts in 1871. It was there in 1875 he made experiments which led to the discovery tilpun. He collected a patent for his invention cemented in February 1876 and received in return a few weeks later. (It is interesting to note that another man named Elisha Gray also garnered a patent for the invention of the strengthening of similar equipment on the day that coincided with what was done Bell, just within a few hours only).

Shortly after the patent is received, Bell showed tilpun in the exhibition of 100 years the city of Philadelphia. His discovery attracted the attention of the public and received awards for their work. However, The Western Union Telegraph Company, which offered to pay $ 100,000 for the invention of the evasive pay. Because of that, Bell and his friends, in the month of July 1877, started his own company, the ancestors of the American Telephone and Telegraph Company now. Tilpun quickly and massively to achieve commercial success. This Sakarang AT & T is the largest business enterprise in the world.

Bell and his wife are in the month of March 1879 held 15 percent of the shares of companies that seem to have no idea how fantastic benefits that would be received by the company. Within just seven months, they've sold most of their shares with an average price
$ 250 per share. In November the price had shot up to $ 1000 per share! (In March it was the one who urged his wife rush sale because he was worried about the stock price would not be that high again!) In 1881 they sold more rash-third of the remaining shares they hold. Even so, yet in 1883, they've been able to get benefits worth about a million dollars.Despite the discovery of Bell orbit tilpun already made a fortune, he never stopped to continue its investigation, and he managed to find again the various tools that are useful, though not nearly as important as tilpun. His interests varied, but its main purpose is to help the deaf. His wife was deaf girl who practiced alone. Four children, two boys two girls came out thanks to the marriage but the fourth died young.

Bell to be a citizen in 1882 the United States and died in 1922.Large-small size of the effect lies in the assessment Bell size tilpun meaning itself. In my opinion, the effect is enormous because there are so many discoveries are widely used by people and so much influence in everyday life.Bell in the order I placed under the Marconi radio since its usefulness is more diverse than tilpun. For example, talking on the tilpun can basically be done by radio, but in some cases (eg communication with aircraft in flight) tilpun can not replace the radio function. If it's just merely a factor to be the size, will Bell ranks far below the more than Marconi.

However, there are two things worth considering. First, although the private tilpun conversation could have been done on the radio, it would be very difficult to replace the entire system pertilpunan us with the equivalent of a radio network. Second, the principal method of distributing re-designed the sound for the Bell receiver oper tilpun lately taken and used by a radio receiver, phonograph records and various other equipment form. That's why I consider the influence of Bell only slightly less than the Marconi.

Thomas Alva Edison

Posted by Jibril on Saturday, February 18, 2012

Thomas Alva Edison was born in Ohio on 11 February 1847 and was one of the best known inventions of all time. He did not come from a poor family but he was born of middle-class family.Thomas Alva Edison was the youngest of 7 siblings. "Al" as he used to be called, not to speak when he was almost 4 years. But after that, he began to study and ask for help on every adult he meets. If they do not know, then Al was disappointed and asked "Why?"

At the age of 7 years, Al is often scolded by his teacher as many questions about things that are difficult and not thinking like a child at the age.For teachers, the child is considered as dumb and stress. If modern psychology had existed at the time, Al may be considered a victim of "attention deficit syndrome."Nancy, his beloved mother know Al did not like his teacher. He immediately gave serious attention to the education al. The family decided to Al out of school and his own mother who taught Al at home.Large family Al from Massachusetts also helped to teach Al and sometimes his father, Samuel give encouragement to Al in order to read the books a great classic.

His father gave a gift of Al 10 cents every time you finish reading a book. So it's no wonder that Al has the smarts but ultimately simple look.At the age of 11 years, Al's parents introduced him to a variety of science by asking Al utilizing local library. This is what led Al would prefer self-learning there.Diperpustakaan, Al began to read from the old books are located at the bottom of the rack to the middle shelf. Although a lot of reading lots of books, parents are wisely directed to be more selective towards Al reading the book.At the age of 12 years, Al not only has to read the history of the Roman empire, the history of the world, literary books, but also a complete dictionary of the world and a number of practical chemistry books.

Mother knows that Al liked chemistry and electronics, so he frequently bought books of Al with respect to the field. One of the books owned by Al explains how the practice of chemistry experiments at home, from the book that Al-takes-all.At that age, Al looks like an adult. Her parents gave Al permission to sell newspapers, snacks, and candy at the Railway Station, he was also allowed to do business selling fruits and vegetables. At the age of 15 years, Al has mastered the basic principles accepted the job after working as one in a thousand successive telegraph operator in the American civil war.

It was then that he had a golden opportunity to improve the speed and efficiency in sending and receiving Morse code practice equipment and experiments are designed to improve the tool.At the age of 16 years, having worked in various telegraph office, and came to the discovery of the so-called first-automatic repeater (automatic repeater) - that can conduct signals between the stations are empty. So it allows people to easily and accurately translate Morse code without any interruption. Strangely, he never patented it homemade. In 1879, Al received extreme disappointment when Alexander Graham Bell had beaten her. Bell had patented a device Conductor of the human voice.

Yet when it was Edison's creations have also developed a tool that can deliver the human voice. His disappointment did not deter her. Edison began to walk to the discovery of an electric incandescent bulb.In 1880, Edison and his friends make at least 3000 different theories to develop an efficient incandescent lamps. Incandescent lamp shining through an electric current by heating a thick slab of material (called a filament / wire coil) until hot enough to make the light shine. In Edison biography of a writer noted "his mother is a teacher who is completely and do the best for his students, he took Edison to learn for himself the stage, the stage of learning to make her interested and entertained, he gave encouragement to keep going in that area. one of the best things he can do against the child's extraordinary. "Thomas Alva Edison himself gives the impression of his mother "Ibundaku have shaped me. He understands me, and he let me follow my talent. "

Thomas Alva Edison (February 11, 1847 - October 18, 1931) was an inventor and businessman who developed many important devices. The Wizard of Menlo Park is one of the first inventors to apply the principles of mass production in the discovery process.Edison is considered as one of the most prolific creator of his day, holding a record 1,093 patents in his name. Most of these findings is not entirely original, but it is an improvement earlier patents, and in fact created by the many employees - Edison was frequently criticized for failing to include the name of its employees. Nevertheless, Edison received patents worldwide, including the United States, United Kingdom, France, and Germany.Edison founded the Motion Picture Patents Company, which is a conglomerate of nine major film studios (commonly known as the Edison Trust). He also helped in the field of defense the United States government. Some of his research include: detection of the aircraft, destroying periscopes with machine guns, submarine detection, stop the torpedo nets, increasing the power of the torpedo, the ship camouflage, and many more. He was born in Milan, Ohio, USA. He died at the age of 84, on the anniversary of the famous inventions, modern light bulb.

James Watt, Scottish inventor who is often associated with steam engines, a key figure of the Industrial Revolution. Actually, Watt is not the first person who made the steam engine. Similar draft prepared also by Hero of Alexandria in the early years AD. In 1686 Thomas Savery patents make a steam engine used to pump water, and in 1712, Englishman Thomas Newcomen, the patent also make similar products with a more perfect version, but the creation Newcomen engine still of low quality and less efficient, can only used to pump water from coal mines.

History of the discovery of X-ray

Posted by Jibril on Monday, June 27, 2011

X-rays were first discovered by German physicist Wilhelm C. Roentgen on November 8, 1895. At that Roentgen work using tubes.
Crookes in his lab at the University of Wurzburg. He observed a green glow on the tube which previously attracted the attention of Crookes. Roentgen then try to close the tube with black paper in the hope that no visible light can pass. But after closing it turns out there is still something that can pass. Roentgen-ray Concluding that there are invisible rays that can break through the black paper.
At the time of Roentgen turn the power source cathode ray tubes for research, he found that there is a kind of fluorescent light on the screen that made daribar ium platino cyanida who happened to be nearby. If the power source turned off, the light glow is gone. Roentgen quickly realized that some kind of invisible rays that have emerged from the cathode ray tube.

Nikolaus August Otto was a German inventor who in 1876 created the combustion engine with four-drive, the kind used by millions of people who made since then until now. The burning of the inside of the machine is a result of careful thought and good. It used to drive a motor boat and motorcycle. He is used in various industries, and are also things that can not be separated with the invention of aircraft. (Until mengudaranya jet-engined aircraft in 1939, essentially all driven aircraft with a burner that works according to the design of Otto). But most important of what is important is its use in automobile engine movement.
